Mothers of Europe

Mothers of Europe: Pioneers of Democracy is a project that aims to commemorate and raise awareness about remarkable women in our history—agents of change who drove European integration, brought about democratic transitions, and influenced the core values of the European Union. The project focuses on identifying and increasing the visibility of influential women in Czechia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Spain, and Poland through events, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns held in each participating country.

The Mothers of EU project is funded by the European Union (CERV-2023-CITIZENS-REM) and is developed by a consortium of the following organizations: Fundacja Centrum im Profesora Bronislawa Geremka (Poland), Magyarorszagi Europa Tarsasag (Hungary), Alliance4europe GGMBH (Germany), Inter Alia (Greece), Knihovna Vaclava Havla OPS (Czechia), Polska Fundacja IM. Roberta Schumana (Poland), and Coglobal (Spain).
